"This isn't mere convenience; it's transformative science with a human purpose," Obaro emphasized. He pointed to data-driven optimizations, such as smart dispatch systems that reduce fuel waste and enhance efficiency, as examples of algorithms meeting empathy to uplift communities often overlooked by big tech.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, Obaro posed thought-provoking questions to the audience: "What kind of cities do we want to live in by 2050? What kind of science will shape them?" He urged immediate action, stressing that building an inclusive, sustainable future starts today. "We must invest in science that is ethical, community-rooted, and accessible to all—not just for profit, but for people," he said, aligning the app's expansion plans with global initiatives like the United Nations' International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024–2033).
In his closing remarks, Obaro extended heartfelt thanks to the Honorable Commissioner and the directorate of the Delta State Ministry of Science and Technology for their unwavering support.
