We were thrilled to showcase how 1TimeShop is leading the charge in making everyday life in Delta State faster, safer, and more connected!

Showcasing Our Brand: Innovation in Action

Our booth was buzzing with energy as we demoed the 1TimeShop super-app – the all-in-one platform for taxi rides, food delivery, groceries, and logistics. Visitors got hands-on with real-time order tracking, seamless payments, and exclusive features like advanced OTP verification and professional dispatchers. We highlighted our commitment to safety and efficiency, drawing crowds eager to see how we're transforming urban mobility and commerce in Asaba and beyond.

Fun Spin Games & Exclusive Perks

No booth is complete without some fun! Our spin-the-wheel game was a hit – participants spun for instant wins like ₦1,000 – ₦5,000 wallet credits, free deliveries, and branded swag (t-shirts, stickers, and eco-bags in our signature green). The highlight? Our Co-Founder & CTO, Mr. Jeffry J. Obaro, delivered a captivating keynote on the main stage. He unveiled our 2025–2026 roadmap, focusing on:

• The official launch of the 1TimeShop Vendor App in December 2025 – empowering restaurants and stores with real-time order management, inventory updates, instant payouts, and analytics to skyrocket sales.
• Aggressive Expansion Plans for 2026: Rolling out to Warri, Sapele, Ughelli, Kwale, and more cities across Delta State, aiming for 500+ active vendors and 100,000 monthly users by year-end.
• New safety upgrades, deeper local business integrations, and community-driven features to foster trust and growth.

Asaba, Delta State – November 10, 2025 – In a inspiring collaboration aimed at fostering scientific literacy and innovation among Nigeria's youth, 1TimeShop, the indigenous multi-service super app developed by Joevexm Nigeria Limited, partnered with the Delta State Ministry of Science and Technology to mark World Science Day for Peace and Development 2025. The event, centered on the global theme "Trust, Transformation, and Tomorrow: The Science We Need for 2050," highlighted the practical role of science in everyday life and encouraged young minds to embrace it as a tool for societal progress.

The partnership kicked off with interactive visits to two secondary schools in Asaba, where representatives from 1TimeShop and ministry officials engaged students in enlightening sessions. These outreach programs focused on demystifying science, emphasizing why trusting scientific principles is essential for personal and communal betterment. Students learned how science drives sustainable solutions to real-world challenges, from environmental conservation to digital empowerment. "We wanted to show these young people that science isn't distant or abstract—it's the foundation of a brighter future we can all build," said a ministry spokesperson during the sessions.

The highlight of the celebration was a keynote address delivered by Mr. Jeffery Obaro, CTO and Co-founder of 1TimeShop, at a special gathering hosted by the ministry. Drawing a diverse audience of educators, innovators, government officials, and students, Obaro passionately redefined science beyond traditional boundaries. "Science is not just a subject in textbooks or a tool in laboratories," he declared. "It is the engine that feeds us, connects us, and heals us." Using 1TimeShop as a compelling case study, Obaro illustrated how everyday technology embodies scientific innovation to create trust, drive transformation, and shape a visionary tomorrow.

Features like Trip OTP verification, real-time tracking, SOS emergency alerts, and rigorous Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding for drivers and vendors were showcased as "scientific systems" that build unbreakable bonds between users and the platform. "In Nigeria, where digital trust is evolving, we've made every ride, delivery, and transaction secure—not just as tech add-ons, but as a promise to our community," he noted.

Shifting to transformation, Obaro highlighted 1TimeShop's role in revolutionizing urban living by integrating multiple services into one seamless super app. From booking taxis and tricycles (keke) to food and grocery deliveries, logistics solutions, and access to local service providers, the platform empowers micro-entrepreneurs and users alike. "This isn't mere convenience; it's transformative science with a human purpose," Obaro emphasized. He pointed to data-driven optimizations, such as smart dispatch systems that reduce fuel waste and enhance efficiency, as examples of algorithms meeting empathy to uplift communities often overlooked by big tech.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, Obaro posed thought-provoking questions to the audience: "What kind of cities do we want to live in by 2050? What kind of science will shape them?" He urged immediate action, stressing that building an inclusive, sustainable future starts today. "We must invest in science that is ethical, community-rooted, and accessible to all—not just for profit, but for people," he said, aligning the app's expansion plans with global initiatives like the United Nations' International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024–2033).

In his closing remarks, Obaro extended heartfelt thanks to the Honorable Commissioner and the directorate of the Delta State Ministry of Science and Technology for their unwavering support. "This partnership exemplifies how local innovation can amplify global themes, and we're grateful for the ministry's commitment to nurturing science-driven progress in Delta State," he added.

The event not only celebrated science's potential but also positioned 1TimeShop as a beacon of Nigerian ingenuity. By onboarding hundreds of drivers and vendors since its launch in Asaba, the app continues to promote economic empowerment and digital inclusion. Participants left inspired, with many students expressing newfound enthusiasm for STEM fields.
